Andrew Fischer, has been a writer and journalist for over 50 years. His work has been published in The Daily Pennsylvanian, 34^th Street Magazine, The Berkshire Eagle, Berkshire Week, The Real Paper, Genesis 2, The Jewish Times, Renaissance Magazine, The Berkshire Herald and The Valley Advocate. A practicing attorney for over 40 years, he has long been interested in holocaust studies as well as his own family’s stories.

The Eye and Other Tales began with notebooks he complied of interviews with his father and other family members. It expanded to original source materials, genealogical research, and interviews with others who provided details and other information. His hope is that this work will be as useful a resource as the work and works of these others were to him.
